Roti John

Farok Nisa Family Food does traditional old school style roti john which isn’t that common anymore. Nowadays most roti john comes sandwiched with mayonnaise and chilli sauce, making it messed up and soggy. This roti john however is done the old school way which comes with chilli sauce only, served separately on the side as a dipping sauce.

This roti john has mutton bits, onions and cut green chilli in an egg omelette with mild curry flavours, that is pan fried with the sliced insides of a french loaf. The bread is nicely pan fried with some crispiness outside with some mild charring and nice smokey flavours. The dipping chilli sauce is slightly sweet and not spicy at all. This roti john is nice. Recommended.

Mee Goreng

Farok Nisa Family Food also does the usual fried noodles, mee hoon and rice. This is the regular mee goreng with comes with mutton bits, tomato, potato, green chilli, vegetables and bean sprouts stir fried in yellow noodles and egg. The noodles has a decent spicy and savoury taste. Served with a sunny side egg with crispy sides and cucumber slices with ketchup on the side. Also available in white version with ikan bilis instead of mutton.

Nasi Goreng Kampung

Just like the mee goreng, this nasi goreng is the red version that is spicy with decent flavours. Comes with ikan bilis instead of mutton with bits of potato, tomato, onion and green chilli stir fried with rice and eggs. Served with cucumber slices and ketchup on the side. Also available in white version.
