Fried Mee Hoon & Fried Noodles

Piao Xiang Xiao Chi sells fried mee hoon and fried noodles with some add-ons to choose from. Shown here is fried mee hoon with fried chicken wing, and fried noodles with fried egg.

The fried mee hoon is the white version with some shredded carrots. Tastes decent. The fried chicken wing has a very nice crispy skin and is juicy inside. Tastes nice too. I like the fried chicken wing.

As for the fried noodles, it is quite springy and topped with some bean sprouts. The noodles has a very mild alkaline taste but when you mix it with the chilli sauce and bean sprouts, the alkaline taste disappears. Tastes fairly decent. The fried egg has a runny yolk but no crispy sides.

Personally I prefer the fried mee hoon over the fried noodles, and the fried chicken wing is nice.

Nasi Lemak

Piao Xiang Xiao Chi also sells nasi lemak. Shown here is with fried egg, ngo hiang, spring roll and fried chicken wing.

First the nasi. It is barely fragrant and not taste any coconut milk. The rice is also slightly undercooked. Fail. The sambal chilli is average, nothing special about it. The ngo hiang is ordinary as well, and the spring roll is downright lousy. It tastes of bad cooking oil that had been reused for countless times. Mega fail.

Only the chicken wing is nice here. Crispy skin outside with juicy meat inside, and nice flavours. In short, can pass on this nasi lemak. Next, please!
