Check-in, Please

The Silveri Hong Kong-MGallery is located directly above Citygate Outlets mall and linked to Tung Chung MTR just beside it. A bus terminal with buses to the airport is also located just below the mall. The hotel entrance is located within the mall itself on 3rd floor. A pair of lifts leads to the hotel lobby located on the 9th floor.

There is also a hotel entrance at the basement for those arriving by cars, taxis and hotel shuttle bus. A concierge desk is located here, as well as a lobby space with some seats.

The pair of lifts leading up to the hotel lobby are actually glass lifts. A scenic backdrop of the sea and Hong Kong International Airport accompanies you to the hotel lobby.

Lobby

On the 9th floor is the hotel lobby. It is spacious with lots of sofa and seats. The front desk is located here as well.

There are armchairs scattered throughout the lobby area, and decorative fireplaces too.

The guest rooms are located on 5th to 15th floors and are accessible via another set of lifts at the hotel lobby. To access your room’s floor, you have to tap your room key card in the lift. And the room key cards are made of wood, laser etched with logo and words. How interesting!

Classic Queen Room

The Classic Queen Room is quite decently sized for a Hong Kong hotel. There is even space for a 2-seater sofa at the side.

Placed near the windows is a queen size bed, with a side table on each side. Above the side table is a row of sockets and switches.

An expansive view of the neighbourhood can be seen from the windows, with green rolling hills in the background and the hotel’s swimming pool in the foreground. It is rather scenic.

Along the wall opposite the bed is a writing desk and TV. Above the writing desk is a desk light with retro light bulb. There are a row of sockets and switches beside the desk.

On the other end of the desk is a cabinet housing a pantry. A kettle, coffee machine, tea bags and coffee pods are provided.

Also provided are a tea poit with a pair of tea cups, and 2 packets of drinking water and 2 cups. A mini fridge stocked with some drinks is located inside the cabinet. Pull out the drawer and there are some snacks and wine glasses.

Located near the room door is a wardrobe. The usual bathrobes, iron, ironing board and laundry bags can be found here.

The toilet and shower are in separate cubicles. The toilet has a japanese style biget with a remote control available for the different settings. Underneath the remote is a flat surface that you can put your trinkets and phone while doing your business.

The shower compartment has a regular shower head and a rainforest shower head. There is a small stab to put your things on or to use as a seat.

The wash basin is located at the passageway, sandwiched between the wardrobe and pantry. Basic toiletries and a hair dryer is provided.

The bathroom toiletries are from New York City skincare brand Malin+Goetz.

Facilities

Located on the 9th floor is the hotel’s fitness level where there is a gym and a swimming pool.

There is no access to the pool and gym from the hotel lobby area. Instead, on each guest room floor, there is a dedicated lift that leads to the pool and gym area on the 9th floor.

There is a counter along the corridor leading to the gym room and pool area.

The gym room is open 24 hours. There are various gym equipment and some weights.

The swimming pool is located outside, where the terrace is. An abundance of greenery lines both sides of a winding pathway leading to the swimming pool. It feels like you are walking through a lush garden.

Before reaching the swimming pool, by the side of the pathway, there is a lawn area with sun loungers. High shrubs and trees enclose this area for privacy. It feels like you are sunning in your own private lawn.

At the end of the pathway is an outdoor pool with plentiful of greenery surrounding it. More lounging chairs are located by the poolside. It feels like a swimming pool within a lush private garden. Nice vibes.

Apparently there is a complimentary airport shuttle bus service going between the hotel and the airport at regular intervals. Unfortunately, I am not aware of this service during my stay.

Check Out, Please

The Silveri Hong Kong-MGallery gives off an urban oasis vibe, with an aura of calmness among the hustle and bustle of Tung Chung. It is very conveniently located above Citygate Outlets with plentiful of shopping and dining options.

Located on the ground floor of the mall is a bus terminal with regular bus services going to the airport. Tung Chung MTR is next-door, and linked directly to the mall as well. Going to the airport is probably about 15 mins by public bus, and heading out into Central takes about 30 mins by MTR. It is convenient getting around.

It is truly a lovely and comfy stay for me at The Silveri Hong Kong-MGallery. Truly enjoyable.
