Ah Mah Chwee Kueh does chwee kueh using steamed rice cakes that are springy firm and yet soft, with chye poh toppings added.
The rice cake is quite bland on its own, and you can actually taste the rice flour used. However its tastes levels up quickly when eaten with the chye poh toppings. The chye poh is the sweet type with nice savoury flavours with some notes of sweet. I quite like this chwee kueh. Thumbs up.
