Soya Sauce Chicken & Shrimp Wanton

Hong Kong Soy Sauce Chicken Golden Mile serves soya sauce chicken with either noodles or rice. Above is their soya sauce chicken noodles. The shrimp wanton and lap cheong are extra add-ons.

The soya sauce chicken has smooth and tender meat with soft and smooth skin that has light soya sauce flavours. Not bad. The lap cheong is firm and meaty with a slightly sweet taste. These are served on a plate of tossed noodles that iis firm and spring with nice soya sauce seasoning flavours. A hong kong style salty spring onions and slightly crispy fried chilli is added to it.

As for the wanton, it has a soft skin wrapping a filling containing meat and prawn. Not exactly hong kong style where it is all prawns, but this tastes decent too. The wanton comes in a bowl of savoury tasting soup.

All in all, this serving of soya sauce chicken noodles with lap cheong and shrimp wanton is quite likeable.
