Braise Duck & Braised Pork Belly.

Tong Kee Traditional Braised Duck serves braised duck and braised pork belly with briased rice or noodles. The braised rice set above comes with slices of braised duck, braised tofu, half a braised egg, and some braised peanuts. The braised pork belly is an extra add-on.

The boneless slices of braised duck meat are moist and meaty with a soft and flavourful skin attached. The braised pork belly slices are tender with a soft fatty layer. Both meats have nice braised flavours. The braised tofu is firm, while the braised peanuts are soft. Both as well as the braised egg have decent briased flavours. The braised rice is firm and fairly flavourful with a savoury braised sauce added.

A bowl of soup accompanies the rice. It is flavourful with a mild herbal and subtle sweet note. An optional limey chilli sauce is also available. It pairs rather well with the braised meats.
