This chendol is an all time favourite. Generous portions of sweet gula melaka (black palm sugar) and coconut milk on the shaved ice, with servings of green rice jelly (its green colouring comes from pandan leaves juice), red beans and attap chee (nipa palm seeds). The right ratio of coconut milk and black palm sugar blends really well, thick in its flavours and yet not to sweet. Perfect dessert for a hot warm day.
