Bedok Interchange Hawker Centre Singapore

Yong Hwa Delights

serves various handmade fishball, meatball and minced meat noodles. Usual selection of noodles. Decent.

Mini Wok

Yong Hwa Delights serves various fishball, meatball and minced meat noodles. Seen above is their mini wok which comes with a bit of everything and a serving of noodles.

The mini wok comes with fishballs, meatballs, fish cake slices, crab stick, pork slices, minced pork, a raw egg and some vegetables. Mee pok is chosen for the accompanying bowl of noodles. The mee pok is tossed with crispy lard and chilli, and is firm and springy.

Both the pork slices and minced meat are soft and meaty. The crab stick is the regular supermarket kind. The raw egg is soft after been soaked in the rather nicely flavoured hot soup.

As for the fishball, fish cake and meatball, they are all handmade. The fishball is soft and smooth with a slight springiness to it. It is slightly savoury with nice fish flavourings. Likewise for the fish cake, it is soft and smooth with slightly savoury fish flavours. The meatball is soft and smooth, and a little firmer and springier than the fishball. It is slightly savoury and has nice flavourings. All 3 are nice.

This mini wok mee pok is a decent one. Rather likeable too.
