Ban Mian

Lan Xiang Handmade Noodles sells an assortment of handmade noodles. Shown here is their ban mian.

This ban mian comes with very nice flavoured minced meat, meatballs and pork slices with vegetables, crispy ikan bilis and fried shallots added. An egg is also added but can’t really notice it as it’s all broken up. Would’ve been better if it is still in a single piece.

The soup is nice flavoured and the noodles are springy, but the noodles are not cooked evenly. Some parts of the noodles is lumpy and a bit tough. Definitely much better if the noodles are better cooked as the flavours are nice. Overall, still decently likeable though.
