Braised Duck Rice

Cai Ji Boneless Duck Rice Porridge serves braised duck rice and braised duck porridge. For their braised duck rice, you can choose between plain white rice or yam rice. Shown here is their braised duck rice with yam rice.

This duck rice has slices of deboned braised duck meat that is moist and tender stacked on top of a plate of yam rice. The yam rice tastes mildly of dried shrimps and actually has tiny bits of yam in it. Very nice! The sambal chilli provided is spicy and a slightly salty taste. Goes well with the duck meat and rice. The plate of rice also comes with an accompanying bowl of soup on the side with a nice light herbal taste.

This is surely a nice plate of braised duck rice. Yam rice is highly recommended over plain white rice.
