Fried Hokkien Mee

Red Stove Fried Prawn Mee sells only fried Hokkien mee. This fried Hokkien mee has roughly a half-half ratio of yellow noodles and mee hoon, stir fried in a broth with eggs, sotong slices and prawns added. It then served slightly wet with chilli and a piece of green lime on the side.

The noodles are decently springy, however it tastes kind of bland. The sotong and prawns likewise is quite tasteless. The chilli on the side is spicy and mixes fairly well with the fried noodles giving it an extra taste of spiciness but still falls short in enhancing its flavours. This is just an average plate of fried Hokkien mee, in my opinion.
