Fried Kway Teow

Sheng Cheng Fried Kway Teow dishes out fried kway teow with a nice wok hei. It comes with see hum, fish cake slices stir fried with eggs, bean sprouts and lard in the mixture of kway teow and yellow noodles. This fried kway teow is not so black, has a mildly sweet taste, and comes with generous amounts of crispy lard. Nice!

Fried Hokkien Mee

Besides fried kway teow, Sheng Cheng Fried Kway Teow also dishes out a nicely flavoured fried hokkien mee. This fried hokkien mee comes with prawns, tiny bits of pork belly, fish cake slices and crispy lard pieces stir fried with eggs and a mixture of yellow noodles, mee hoon and bean sprouts. This plate of fried noodles has a slightly wet texture coming from the added broth, and is springy. Chilli and a piece of lime is added on the side. The chilli has a salty taste but mixes rather well with the fried noodles, giving it a nice savoury flavour. This fried hokkien mee is quite likeable.
