Chee Cheong Fun & Yam Cake

Shang Hai Chee Cheong Fen does chee cheong fun in an assortment of fillings, as well as steamed yam cake. Shown here is their chicken chee cheong fun, char siew chee cheong fun and yam cake.

The chicken chee cheong fun contains moist and meaty shreds of chicken meat. The char siew version has meaty bits of char siew as its filling instead. The chee cheong fun itself is soft and smooth with sweet sauce and chilli sauce added, and topped with sesame seeds. Really nice.

As for the yam cake, it is soft with chunks of yam pieces inside. It tastes lovely when eaten together with the sweet sauce and chilli sauce. I like this. Highly recommended and thumbs up!
