Fried Hokkien Mee

Hoe Hokkien Mee dishes out the wetter type of fried hokkien mee. It contains prawns, sotong slices and pork belly slices stir fried with a mixture of yellow noodles and mee hoon with eggs in a broth.

There are more mee hoon than yellow noodles, and no bean sprouts, in this fried hokkien mee and has a nice springy texture. Served on a plate with wet broth still soaking the fried noodles mixture, with chilli on the side. The chilli is the watery type that is spicy with nice dried shrimp flavours and mixes really well with the noodles. No lard though. However, this is definitely a nice tasting plate of fried hokkien mee. Likeable.
