Katong Laksa

Jia Katong Laksa sells katong laksa with different choices of ingredients. This is their default option which comes with see hum, fish cake slices and prawns with thick mee hoon in a bowl of laksa gravy and topped with chilli paste.

This katong laksa uses short strands of thick mee hoon with some bean sprouts added. The rice noodles are intentionally made short so that you can scoop them up using a spoon together with some gravy and eat them. The gravy used here is the thin and watery type and tastes fairly nice. This bowl of laksa is decently likeable.
