Chwee Kueh

Singapore Shui Kueh does the sweet type of chwee kueh. The rice cake has a nice firm texture. The chye poh is the sweet type and tastes nice. A dollop of spicy dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste is served on the side, and tastes well with the chwee kueh. I like it.

Chee Cheong Fun & Yam Cake

The chee cheong fun is quite smooth with a soya sauce and oil seasoning, mixed with sweet sauce and chilli. Topped with chopped spring onions and fried shallots. Nice.

The yam cake is quite soft, smooth and firm. It has nice flavourings of yam and contains small yam bits. Served with sweet sauce and chilli, and topped with chopped spring onions, fried shallots and sesame seeds.

This glutinous rice is quite soft and chewy. Contains mushroom bits and topped with crunchy peanuts, fried shallots and spring onions. Served with a nice tasting dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste on the side. Nice.
