Mee Hoon Kueh

77 Ban Mian sells an assortment of ban mian and mee hoon kueh. Shown above is their mee hoon kueh. It contains minced pork, ikan bilis, a raw egg, some vegetables, served in a bowl of nicely flavoured clear soup and topped with some fried shallots and chopped spring onions.

The minced meat is soft and nicely flavoured, and the egg is soft. The ikan bilis has nice savoury flavours but unfortunately is soft and is no longer crispy. The mee hoon kueh itself is firm and springy but some bits can be a little to firm though. On the whole, this mee hoon kueh is still decent.
