Wanton Mee

Jia Jia Wanton Noodle dishes out wanton mee containing char siew slices, fried wanton and soup wanton. Seen here is with extra fried wanton added.

The noodles is the wet type and comes with some vegetables and topped with fried shallots. It is springy with a mild alkaline taste. The lean meat char siew slices is soft and meaty with a mildly sweet taste.

The fried wanton has a crispy and light skin with nicely flavoured moist meat filling. It is nice and extras is recommended. For the soup wanton, it has a soft skin with nicely flavoured meat filling containing water chestnut bits. The wanton comes in a bowl of mild savoury soup with flavours of ikan bilis. Both types of wanton are good.

Although the lean meat char siew and noodles are quite ordinary, this wanton mee is still quite likeable.
