Mei Feng Shao La sells the usual assortment of siu mei meats. Seen here is their char siew and siu yuk rice.

I had requested for fatty char siew, however the char siew slices are quite lean. However it is decently soft and meaty with mild smokey flavours. The siu yuk, on the other hand, has some fatty bits and crispy skin. Its meat soft and meaty with nice savoury flavours.

These meats are served on a plate of firm textured white rice topped with a seasoning sauce. The accompanying bowl of soup has nice sweet corn flavours, and the sweet tasting chilli paste mixes rather well with the meats.

This char siew and siu yuk rice maybe ordinary, but it is still tastes quite decent.
