Hainanese Curry Rice

Loo’s Hainanese Curry Rice is a popular stall well known for its hainanese curry rice with a nice selection of dishes to choose from. Chosen here are their pork chop, braised pork belly and chye poh egg.

First off, the pork chop. It is not the wafer thin type but is thicker. It is crispy, meaty and moist with nice savoury seasoning flavours. I like it. Next, the braised pork belly is meaty and moist, and soft with some fatty parts. Definitely a decent one. As for the chye poh egg, it contains bits of chye poh and some bean sprouts. This fried egg has nice smokey flavours and a hint of sweetness. Very likeable and highly recommended. Finally, the rice itself is firm and drenched with a mixture of nicely flavoured curry sauce and braised sauce.

This plate of hainanese curry rice is truly enjoyable. Thumbs up!
