Wanton Mee

Kang’s Wanton Noodle serves wanton mee that comes with the usual char siew slices as well as both soup and fried wanton.

The tossed noodles has a nice dry texture. It is firm and springy with nice seasoning flavours, and comes with some vegetables. Slices of char siew and a couple of fried wanton are added to the bowl of noodles.

The char siew is mostly lean meat with small bits of fatty parts. It is soft with a slightly sweet taste. The fried wanton has a nice airy and crispy skin with generous amounts of savoury tasting meat filling.

Served on the side is a bowl of ikan bilis flavoured soup containing a few pieces of soup wanton. The soup wanton has a soft skin. Just like the fried wanton, it has generous portions of savoury tasting meat filling. Both wanton are rather large sized and tastes nice. Extras are recommended.

This is an enjoyable serving of wanton mee. I like it. Thumbs up.
