Nasi Lemak

SS Western 57 serves nasi lemak and tahu goreng. Seen above is their nasi lemak with fried chicken wing, fish fillet, fried egg and ikan bilis.

The fried chicken wing is soft and moist with nice savoury seasoning flavours. The fish fillet is the regular supermarket type. It is crispy outside and soft inside. The fried egg has a nice runny yolk, and the ikan bilis is crispy and crunchy.

These are served with a fairly firm and light coconut milk flavoured rice with sambal chilli and a slice of cucumber. The sambal has a nice sweet and spicy taste that goes really well with the rice.

This plate of nasi lemak tastes quite decent.
