Wanton Mee

This wanton mee comes with both fried wanton and soup wanton, and a bowl of tossed noodles with char siew slices.

The tossed noodles is a bit soft, but still fairly springy. It has a nice savoury seasoning flavour and tossed with some crispy pork lard pieces. Comes with some vegetables, char siew slices and fried wanton. The char siew is the lean type. It is soft and meaty with a slightly sweet taste. The fried wanton has a nice crispy skin, however I can’t really taste the meat filling.

On the side is a bowl of soup containing a few pieces of wanton. The wanton has a soft skin wrapper with a savoury tasting meat filling. The soup has a light savoury taste.

This wanton mee is quite decent and likeable.

Sarawak Kolo Mee

Besides wanton mee, sarawak kolo mee is served here as well. This kolo mee comes with slices of char siew and topped with some minced meat.

The kolo mee itself is firm and springy with nice flavours of fried shallot oil. The minced meat topping is savoury with rice wine seasoning flavours. The char siew is the lean type, is soft and meaty with a slightly sweet taste. As for the wanton, it has soft skin and a savoury tasting meat filling.

This sarawak kolo mee is quite decent and likeable as well.
