Ngo Hiang

Sin Sin Prawn Crackers is a rather popular stall in the neighbourhood serving a nice selection of ngo hiang pieces. Seen above are their ngo hiang, prawn cracker, fishball, fish cake and meatball.

The ngo hiang has slightly crispy skin wrapping a nice soft filling with a tint of yam flavours. The prawn cracker is nice, with an airy and crispy batter. The fishball is soft and smooth with savoury fish flavours. Likewise for the fish cake, it is soft and smooth with a crispy skin and nice savoury fish flavours. As for the meatball is soft with crunchy water chestnut bits, and nice savoury flavours. All the ngo hiang pieces are nice and likeable.

The ngo hiang comes served with a bowl of chilli dipping sauce on the side. This chilli sauce is starchy and spicy with a tint of limey and sweet taste. Its flavours compliments the ngo hiang pieces nicely. I like it.

Fried Mee Hoon

Fried mee hoon is available as an option. This fried mee hoon has a nice dry texture and savoury taste. It goes well with the ngo hiang pieces. A recommended add-on.
