Fried Mee Hoon

Yong Xing Fried Bee Hoon Nasi Lemak does the usual options of fried mee hoon, fried noodles and fried kway teow.

The fried mee hoon has a nice dry texture with some bean sprouts, and tastes rather nice. Both the fried noodles and fried kway teow has a firm texture. The fried noodles contains some bean sprouts, and the fried kway teow has a light savoury taste. Both tastes decent.

As for the sides, the ngo hiang is rather ordinary and isn’t crispy, tastes decent though. The luncheon meat is quite ordinary too, and isn’t crispy. The fish cake has a firm texture and savoury tastes.

Nasi Lemak

The nasi lemak set comes with a piece of fried chicken wing, a fried egg and some peanuts, served with green pandan rice and some chilli on the side.

The fried chicken wing has a crispy batter and moist meat with nice savoury seasoning flavours. It is rather nice. The fried egg has a runny yolk and soft whites, and the peanuts is crunchy. As for the rice, it has a greenish tint coming from the added pandan leaves, giving it a nice fragrance and is rather flavourful. The chilli is spicy with a note of sweet.

This nasi lemak is quite decent.

Fried Rice

Fried rice is sold here as well. Above is with fish cake and chicken cutlet added.

The fried rice comes with tiny bits of luncheon meat, taiwan sausage, fish cake, mixed beans and eggs. It is firm with a nice dry texture, and tastes dececnt. The fish cake is springy and rather soft and smooth with a light savoury taste. The chicken cutlet has a slightly crispy batter with moist meaty meat, and decent flavourings.

The fried rice is a rather decent choice too.
