Rojak

Mei Ji Rojak does rojak with the usual you tiao and tau pok with an assortment of fruit slices and jellyfish. As far as I can tell, it comes with cucumber, apple, green mango and pineapple. These are mixed in sweet and sticky rojak sauce with some bean sprouts added and topped with grated peanuts.

Both the you tiao and tau pok are toasted until they are crispy, just the way I like it. The green mango is firm and has a slightly tarty taste. The apple is crunchy, fairly sweet and juicy. The pineapple, too, is sweet and juicy. The jellyfish is crunchy. Overall, this rojak is nice and likeable.
