Fishball Noodles

Lai Yi Wan serves fishball noodles with the usual selection of noodles. Above is with mee pok chosen, and comes with a bowl of nicely flavoured soup on the side. The bowl of mee pok comes with fishballs, meatballs, fish cake slices, fish dumpling and minced meat.

The noodles is cooked slightly softer but is still fairly springy. Decent seasoning flavours, but I can still taste the alkaline flavours of the noodles. It comes with some bean sprouts and topped with some chopped spring onions. Honestly, I find the noodles rather ordinary. However, the accompanying ingredients are of a different tune.

The fishball is very soft and smooth, so soft that it feels almost melting in my mouth. The fish cake, likewise, is soft and smooth with light savoury tastes. Both fishball and fish cake has nice fish flavours and are good! The meatball is firm and springy, and smooth too. It contains tiny bits of chopped spring onions and chilli and is very flavourful. The meatball is good too. The fish dumpling is smooth with meaty filling and tastes nice, and the minced pork is very soft and meaty. All the ingredients tastes lovely! My good rating goes to them.
