Chilli Ban Mian

This bowl of ban mian comes with meatballs, minced meat, ikan bilis, egg and some vegetables. It is served with a bowl of soup on the side.

The meatball is is firm and springy with nice flavours. The minced meat is soft, moist and flavourful with a light tone of savoury. The ikan bilis is crispy and crunchy with a savoury taste, and the egg is soft.

The ban mian is firm and springy. It is tossed in a black sauce seasoning that has a mildly sweet taste. Comes with a dollop of dried shrimp flavoured chilli that is spicy. A nicely flavoured bowl of soup is included on the side. Rather likeable.

Mee Hoon Kueh

The mee hoon kueh comes with minced meat, ikan bilis, egg and some vegetables served in a bowl of soup. The minced meat is soft and meaty. The ikan bilis is soft as well, losing its crispiness after soaking in the soup, and the egg is soft. As for the mee hoon kueh, it is firm and springy. The soup has nice light flavourings. Quite nice.

Braised Yi Mian

Braised yi mian is available as well. It comes with fish cake, pork slices, egg and some vegetables served in a bowl of watery braised sauce.

The pork is soft and meaty. The fish cake is fairly smooth and firm, and the egg is soft. As for the yi mian, it is fairly springy. The sauce is a bit bland though, but is still decent. Personally I prefer their ban mian and mee hoon kueh more.
