San Lao Hor Fun

The hor fun is first wok fried, giving it a nice smokey wok hei taste. A gravy is then cooked with some bean sprouts, spring onions and sliced fish, and poured over the wok fried hor fun. The hor fun itself has a nice firm texture and fairly smooth. The sliced fish is soft and smooth, and tastes rather fresh. This san lao hor fun tastes nice, especially with its faint note of smokiness. I like it.

Dry Fried Beef Hor Fun

This beef hor fun is wok fried with some bean sprouts, vegetables, egg and beef slices. A sweet black sauce is added, giving it a mild sweet taste. A piece of green lime is also provided on the side. The beef slices are soft and tender, and the fried hor fun has a nice shade of wok hei. Very likeable.

Fried Hong Kong Mee

The fried Hong Kong mee comes with bean sprouts, some vegetables, onions, char siew bits and prawns wok fried with thin yellow noodles and egg. A piece of green lime is served on the side. The char siew is meaty, and the prawns tastes fairly fresh. As for the fried noodles, nice smokey flavours of wok hei with a tint of sweet. I like it!

Ikan Bilis Fried Rice

A selection of fried rice is also available here. Above is their ikan bilis fried rice. This fried rice has char siew bits, bean sprouts and spring onions wok, fried with rice and egg. This is then topped with some crispy and savoury tasting ikan bilis. The fried rice is firm and flavourful with nice smokey flavours of wok hei. Lovely!

Sweet Sour Pork Rice

The sweet sour pork comes with cubes of deep fried pork, cucumber, tomato and onions, cooked with a sweet tasting sauce. The pork meat is soft and meaty, but is mostly soft and isn’t crispy. The sauce is watery is a slightly sweet taste. Flavours are decent though. A serving of plain white rice is provided on the side. This sweet sour pork rice is quite ordinary.
