Vegetarian Fried Mee Hoon & Fried Noodles

New Zai Xing Vegetarian Food is a well known vegetarian stall serving vegetarian fried mee hoon and vegetarian fried noodles, as well as some sides. These comes with cabbage, mock char siew, black fungus and mock goose. The fried popiah is an extra add-on.

The cabbage is moist and crunchy with nice flavourings. The mock char siew is soft and tastes. decent. The black fungus is firm and moist, and tastes decent too. The mock goose is the star here, it is has an airy and fluffy kind of crispiness and is flavourful. My good rating goes to this. As for the popiah, it has a crispy and chewy skin with a moist and flavourful filling. It is likeable.

The fried mee hoon contains some bean sprouts. It has a nice dry texture and tastes rather good. The fried noodles comes with some kway teow and bean sprouts. Just like the fried mee hoon, it has a nice dry texture but is a little bit oily. It has a mild smoky undertone of wok hei. Both the fried mee hoon and fried noodles tastes nice and are likeable in their own ways.
