Prawn Mee

Chaoyang Prawn Noodle is supposedly known as one of the top 10 prawn mee by the press. Above is their dry version of prawn mee with yellow noodles chosen.

The prawn mee comes with smallish prawn slices and some pork slices. The prawn tastes decent, and the pork is firm and meaty. The yellow noodles is tossed with a rather flavourful chilli paste and tastes rather nice. Some bean sprouts is included, and it is topped with some fried shallots and crispy pork lard. The noodles is a bit soft though. A small bowl of prawn flavoured soup is provided on the side.

This prawn mee tastes rather decent, but it is not one that will be included in my top 10 list.
