Fried Hokkien Mee

Hong Heng Fried Sotong Prawn Mee is a stall that has a constant long queue of customers waiting for a plate of their well known fried hokkien mee.

This fried hokkien mee is dripping wet with broth that was added to its frying process. Though wet, its yellow noodles are springy and not soft and soggy. It comes with prawns, sotong slices and fish cake slices with eggs stir fried in a mixture of yellow noodles and mee hoon. Comes with sambal chilli and lime on the side. However it is missing on an important ingredient for fried hokkien mee – lard pieces.

It is not overly nice, just decently nice and overrated.
