is a 40 storey high hotel with nice harbour views near Fortress Hill MTR. A bit jaded but decent.

Harbour Grand Hong Kong is a 40 storey hotel located within a 5 mins walk away from Fortress Hill MTR station with plentiful food choices and amenities in the neighbourhood. A huge hotel lobby opens up behind the entrance doors. There are separate queues at the front desk for checking-in and checking-out.
Lobby
There is a concierge desk at the side of the hotel lobby. Behind the concierge desk is a lift lobby with 3 sets of lifts going to different levels of the building.
Superior Harbour View Room
The superior harbour view room is rather large in size compared with a regular hotel room in Hong Kong.
The room is large enough for a king size bed and a table by the windows. Draw open the curtains and you are presented with a view of Victoria Harbour, facing Kowloon Bay area.
A king size bed occupies the room. Across from the bed is a TV set.
On both sides of the bed are a pair of bedside tables. One of them has an extension power cord providing both AC and USB sockets.
By the windows are a glass table and a couple of chairs. A panel by the side of the table houses some sockets.
Next to the TV cabinet is a rather well stocked pantry with an assortment of drinks and wine. Only the usual coffee and tea are complimentary though.
Near the room entrance area is a wardrobe, with the usual bathrobes, slippers, etc. The safe box can be found here.
The bathroom is rather large in size. Comes with the usual bathroom toiletries and amenities. Hotel branded toiletries are provided.
Even comes with a bathtub and separate shower area.
Facilities
Located on the 3rd floor is a gym room with a view of the outdoor swimming pool.
Outside the gym room is an outdoor swimming pool with a nice view of Victoria Harbour. Unfortunately the pool is closed for winter during my stay.
Check Out, Please
The room at Harbour Grand Hong Kong maybe a bit old and jaded but it still quite decently maintained. Its spacious size and harbour view is a nice welcome in a densely built city like Hong Kong. It is also conveniently located, a short walk away from Fortress Hill MTR station, with plentiful food choices and amenities in the neighbourhood. This is definitely a rather likeable stay for me.
