Wanton Mee.

17 Wanton Noodle serves wanton mee with slices of char siew atop a plate of tossed noodles, and a bowl of wanton soup on the side. The fried wanton is an additional add-on.

The char siew slices are lean and meaty. The soup version of wanton has a soft skin, while the fried version has a crispy skin wrapping its meaty filling. Both wanton options tastes not bad, and the bowl of soup has pleasant flavours of ikan bilis. The noodles is firm and springy, tossed in a slightly sweet tasting black sauce seasoning with fried shallots and crispy pork lard. A small serving of vegetables is included with the noodles.

This serving of wanton mee tastes nice and is rather enjoyable.
