Char Siew, Siu Yuk, Roast Duck Rice

Rong Kee Roasted Delights does the usual selection of siu mei roasted meats. Above is their char siew, siu yuk and roast duck served with plain white rice. A savoury and slightly sweet tasting braised sauce is added to it, and a bowl of savoury tasting soup is served on the side.

The char siew is sweet and meaty. The siu yuk has moist meaty meat and crispy skin. As for the roast duck, it is moist and meaty with nice savoury seasoning flavours. Its skin is juicy and flavourful. Quite decent.

Roast Chicken Rice

Roast chicken rice is available as well. The rice is fragrant and flavourful with a firm texture. The roast chicken is moist and meaty with flavourful skin that is still a little crispy. The limey and garlicky tasting chilli sauce goes rather well with the roast chicken. Do, note that the chicken is not deboned though. This plate of roast chicken rice comes served with a bowl of soup. It is rather likeable.

Wanton Mee

Besides rice, noodles is served here as well. Above is their wanton mee which comes with slices of char siew and some vegetables served on a plate of tossed noodles. The wanton is served separately in a bowl of savoury tasting soup.

The char siew is soft and meaty with a nice roasted and sweet taste. The wanton has soft skin and savoury meat filling. The tossed noodles is tossed in a black sauce seasoning that is has slight savoury and slight sweet flavours. It is cooked a bit soft but still fairly springy. This wanton mee is rather decent too.
