28 Rojak

sells rojak and popiah. Both of rojak and popiah tastes good. Definitely one of the better ones around.

Rojak

Most rojak has thick gooey rojak sauce that is ladened with lots of sugar, the rojak sauce here tastes light and refreshing. The sauce is watery with a green lime squeezed in, resulting in a nice refreshing taste. This rojak contains the usual ingredients of pineapple slices, pear slices, cucumber slices, bean sprouts with tau pok and you tiao that are toasted to a mild crisp. This whole messy lump is topped with generous amounts of grated peanuts bits. It is good.

Popiah

This popiah uses double layers of popiah skin, giving it a nice chewy texture. Wrapped inside is just boiled radish and carrot shreddings, bean sprouts, grated peanuts and a sweet sauce. Flavours are very nice and sweetness level is just right. This maybe a simple popiah using just basic ingredients, but it tastes good. I like this.
