29 Singapore Chicken Rice offers a choice of hainanese chicken, roast chicken and chicken cutlet served with rice, with an optional add-on side of bean sprouts.

Both the hainanese chicken and roast chicken are moist and meaty, with the hainanese chicken having a fairly smooth skin and the roast chicken with flavourful skin. The chicken cutlet is is meaty with a crispy breaded crust and skin. All three options taste nice.

The rice is firm and fairly flavourful, and the salted vegetables soup has a pleasant savoury taste. The bean sprouts is crunchy, seasoned with soya sauce and topped with fried shallots and corriander leaves. An optional limey and garlicky chilli sauce is provided on the side.

This serving of chicken rice is quite satisfying.
