Fried Hokkien Mee

339 AMK Xing Rong Ji Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle dishes out a wet version of fried hokkien mee that includes prawns, sotong and pork belly slices. The mixture of yellow noodles and mee hoon is wok fried with eggs and simmered in a flavourful broth that has a subtle hint of prawn flavours. This results in a wet plate of fried hokkien mee. Although wet, the noodles is still springy.

The prawns are of decent size and tastes fairly fresh. The sotong slices are firm and chewy, and the pork belly slices are meaty with a soft layer of fat. A piece of green lime and a very spicy and limey tasting chilli sauce are provided on the side.

This plate of fried hokkien mee tastes rather satisfying.
