Yong Tau Foo.

The assorted handmade yong tau foo above is served with mee hoon in a soup that is flavourful with pleasant soya bean flavours and includes soft soya beans.

The flat tau kee and tau kee with fish paste are both deep-fried again to a nice crisp, and both are springy and taste nice. The fish cake with tofu skin has a soft tofu skin wrapping a smooth and springy fish paste. Both the teochew fish cake and fishball are smooth and has a nice fish taste. The tau pok is bursting with the soup’s flavours and its fish paste filling has a nice smooth texture. An optional chilli sauce and sweet sauce is available.

Overall this bowl of yong tau foo soup mee hoon tastes nice.
