Ah Gong Traditional Hainanese Curry Rice serves several hainanese curry rice sets with a selection of mains and sides. Featured above is their curry rice served with pork chop, fried prawns, sambal prawns, stir fried bean sprouts and fried egg.

The pork chop has nice marinated flavours. It is tender and meaty, but its fried crust has lost its crispiness. The fried prawns are of decent size and taste decent, but its fried batter is not crispy either. The sambal prawns decently sized and fresh, with a tint of sweetness in its sambal sauce. The stir fried bean sprouts contain some carrot shreds and soft tau kwa cubes with a savoury flavour. It is crunchy and tastes decent. The fried egg is just ordinary, with a cooked yolk and whites. As for the rice, it is a bit soft, and the added curry sauce is quite nicely flavoured.

Overall this plate of hainanese curry rice tastes decent.
