Braised Duck & Braised Pork Belly

Ah Xiao Teochew Braised Duck is a popular stall selling braised duck rice. Seen above is their braised duck and braised pork belly with yam rice.

First, the yam rice. It has a nice firm texture with nice braised flavours. Contains some mushroom bits and yam bits. Tastes really good. The yam rice is recommended over their white rice. The little extra money spent on the upgrade is worth it.

Now the braised meats. The braised duck is soft and meaty with nice braised flavours. Nicely deboned too. Likewise for the braised pork belly, it has nice braised flavours. It is soft and meaty with some nice fatty parts attached. Really nice and recommended. These are served with some cucumber slices and braised sauce seasoning.

This braised duck and braised pork belly served with yam rice is truly enjoyable. I like it. Thumbs up!
