Lor Mee

Ai Mian Zi Lor Mee does decently nice tasting lor mee using thick type of yellow noodles. It comes with fish nuggets, ngo hiang slices, braised pork belly slices, half a braised egg and crispy flour bits.

The fish nuggets are crispy and fluffy. Tastes nice. The ngo hiang likewise has crispy skin with nicely flavoured meat fillings. Pork belly is tender and moist with some fatty bits and nice braised flavours, similarly for the braised egg. These are all soaking in a bowl of decently flavoured braised gravy. Some crispy flour bits are included which gives a very nice contrast with the yellow noodles, which unfortunately is the weakest link here. The yellow noodles has a not so good alkaline taste. If I am to ignore the yellow noodles, the rest of the stuff actually tastes pretty nice and likeable.
