Beef Kuning.

The beef kuning rice features a serving of beef rendang, achar and nasi kuning, with a side of chilli sauce and chilli paste. The begedil is an extra add-on item.

The nasi kuning has a yellow tint coming from the added tumeric, and is fairly flavourful. The beef rendang is firm and meaty with nice flavours of spices. The achar consists of cucumber slices, pineapple slices, slivers of onions and chopped chilli, is crunchy with limey and spicy notes. The decently flavoured begedil has a soft potato filling coated in a slightly crispy egg coating. Two types of chilli is provided on the side, a limey-tasting chilli sauce and a dried shrimp flavoured one.

This serving of beef kuning tastes rather likeable.
