Fried Hokkien Mee.

The fried hokkien mee features prawns, sotong and pork belly in its wok-fried mixture of thick mee hoon, yellow noodles, bean sprouts and egg.

The prawn is of decent size and freshness, the sotong is firm and springy, and the pork belly is meaty with a soft layer of fats. The fried hokkien mee has a moist texture and is quite flavourful with a subtle hint of wok hei. Some crispy pork lard and a mildly sweet chilli sauce are provided on the side.

Overall, this fried hokkien mee tastes not bad.

Fried Kway Teow.

The fried kway teow has a wok-fried mixture of kway teow, yellow noodles, bean sprouts and eggs, with see hum, fish cake and lap cheong added.

The see hum is quite large and fresh, the fish cake is springy, and the lap cheong is firm and sweet. The fried kway teow has a mildly sweet note with smoky wok hei undertones, and it tastes not bad too.

Fried Carrot Cake.

The fried carrot cake uses firm and springy radish cubes pan-fried with eggs and chye poh. The egg coating is flavourful with nice flavours of crunchy chye poh. An optional savoury chilli paste is provided on the side. Although not crispy, the fried carrot cake is still quite likeable.
