Fried Carrot Cake.

The fried carrot cake comes in both white and black versions. It uses soft cubes of radish cake pan-fried with eggs and chye poh.

The white version is done flat pancake style with a slightly crispy egg coating. The black version has sweet black sauce added, giving it a mild hint of sweetness, but it lacks the crispiness in the white version.

While both versions are decent, I personally prefer the white option due to its crispy texture.

Fried Oyster Omelette.

The fried oyster omelette has a moist egg and starch mixture with nice crispy parts. It has decent flavourings with tiny bits of savoury chye poh. The oysters are plump and juicy, and the limey chilli dip pairs rather well with it.

This serving of fried oyster omelette is rather enjoyable.

Fried Hokkien Mee.

The fried hokkien mee features a mixture of yellow noodles and thick mee hoon wok fried with egg, prawns, sotong, pork belly, and simmered in a broth. This results in a wet plate of fried hokkien mee.

The prawns are rather small in size but taste decently fresh. The sotong is firm and chewy, and the pork belly is firm and meaty with some soft fatty parts. The fried hokkien mee is firm and springy with decent flavours, and topped with crispy pork lard pieces. A piece of green lime and a dollop of sweet-tasting chilli paste are provided on the side.

Overall, this is a decent plate of fried hokkien mee.
