Fried Kway Teow

The fried kway teow comes with see hum, lap cheong and fish cake. These are all included in the wok-fried mixture of kway teow and yellow noodles with bean sprouts and egg.

This plate of fried kway teow has a wet texture and a sweet taste. Its yellow noodles is springy, and its kway teow is fairly smooth. The see hum is decent sized and tastes decent, the lap cheong is soft and with a mild sweet taste, and the fish cake is soft and smooth. As far as I can tell, there is no pork lard.

This serving of fried kway teow tastes decent.

Fried Carrot Cake

The fried carrot cake uses cubes of radish cake that are pan-fried with eggs and chye poh. The radish cake cubes contain tiny slivers of carrot, and have a firm texture with decent flavours. The white version has a slightly crispy egg coating, while the black version has a sweet taste, but lacks crispiness. Both versions taste alright.
