As shown above, the curry chicken noodles with yellow noodles is served with slices of hainanese chicken, fish cake slices, curry tau pok and curry potato in a bowl of curry gravy. An optional dollop of chilli paste can be added to the side.

The slices of hainanese chicken are not deboned, but the chicken meat is smooth and tender and has soft and smooth skin attached. The fish cake slices are soft and smooth with a savoury taste. The tau pok is soft and soaking up the flavourful curry sauce. The curry potato is soft and flavourful as well. The yellow noodles is firm and springy, and the curry sauce is has nicely balanced flavours with a tone of spiciness. A dollop of savoury tasting dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste can be added to the bowl of chicken curry noodles.
