Golden Star Homemade Carrot Cake specialises in fried carrot cake, available in both black and white options.
The radish cake used is made in-house, and has a soft and mushy texture. The small cubes of radish cake are pan-fried with eggs and chye poh, and topped with chopped spring onions. The black version has sweet sauce added, giving it a nice sweet taste. The white version is unfortunately sold out during my visit.
The fried carrot cake has a lovely crispy texture with soft insides, making it a delightful treat. It is absolutely enjoyable!
