Braised Duck.

Good Duck serves slices of boneless braised duck with yam rice, along with a bowl of herbal soup. The braised duck rice set comes with braised duck, a stab of braised tau kwa, half a braised egg and a side of braised vegetables.

The braised duck is moist and meaty with a juicy and flavourful skin. Both braised tau kwa abd braised egg have light braised flavours. The side of braised vegetables has a mild soury taste, and the bowl of soup has a nice herbal taste. The yam rice if firm and fluffy with pleasant yam flavours, and it includes several chunky pieces of soft yam. A nicely flavoured braised sauce with a subtle sweet note is added tp the plate of braised duck rice. An optional garlicky and sweet chilli sauce and a dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste are provided, and they pair really well with the braised duck and rice.

This serving of braised duck rice is truly enjoyable and satisfying!
