Chinese Vegetarian Food

Healthy Vegetarian Food sells the usual vegetarian fried noodles, fried mee hoon, fried kway teow and brown rice, with an assortment of vegetarian dishes. Shown here are the fried noodles and fried mee hoon with a request for a mixture of vegetarian ingredients.

The first order was for a fried noodles that comes with bean sprouts, bok choy, fried tofu, tau pok, fu zhu (beancurd skin), and mock meats char siew and goose. The second time round was an order for fried mee hoon. This time the request for mixed vegetarian ingredients comes with just fu zhu and mock meats char siew and goose. So your mileage varies according to what is available.

There is a choice for braised vegetables gravy or curry vegetables gravy. Both options shown here are doused with curry vegetables gravy. Both fried noodles and fried mee hoon tastes decent, nothing to shout about. However the portions are big.

You can also add in a side of spring rolls. Crispy on the outside, with a sweet flavour radish and carrot shavings as fillings. It is quite nice.

This is definitely a hearty meal and good value for money. Like.
